Learning is more than an education.
It is the process of transforming information and experience into knowledge, skills, and behaviours.
It is believing that everyone is capable of learning and has something worth sharing.
It is discovering the unique needs of learners and ensuring people have the skills to advocate for those needs.

Learning incorporates many processes.

Through targetted intervention it is possible to increase the ease at which your brain can process and access information.
Auditory Processing
Visual Processing
Memory Processes

We will look at strengths and stretches and work on developing skills and strategies to increase the capacity to learn.
Literacy Intervention and a Learning Disability

Youth with learning disabilities often struggle with academic and functional skills. Understandably, when youth are put in situations that they are not yet ready to handle they can escalate, negatively. This means that if learning struggles go unaddressed, increased emotional or behavioural struggles may surface.
Direct, targeted intervention provides the buidling blocks to help address learning struggles. By meeting youth where they are at it is possible to decrease emotional escalation. This increase (capacit yo learn) learning growth and create positive interactions.
