I am a teacher, a mom, an adventurer, a reader.
A B.A. in Child and Youth Studies, followed by a B.Ed. in Primary/Junior Education, then a Masters degree in Learning Disabilities fueled my life-long passion for teaching kids to read.
With 19 years of teaching experience, I have focused on working with children with learning disabilities for the past 15 years.
My start to working with kids was as a downhill ski racing coach. 25 years later, I am now coaching my own boys as they become confident big mountain skiers.
