Intensive Literacy Instruction
Reading involves a complex set of dynamic processes. These extend beyond the five reading pillars (phonological processing, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension) to include auditory processing, visual perceptual skills, executive functioning, self-regulated learning, and self-efficacy.
As a result, teaching children who are struggling with their literacy skills require a multifaceted approach from experienced and educated professionals who follow current research in practices and approaches. Follow these links to read about my background and approach.
Lean-In and LEAP use the same guiding principles to ensure that we provide research-supported, multisensory, individualized, systematic and responsive intervention practices.
I am currently running an online practice. Contact me to discuss your child’s needs and scheduling options.

Beyond tutoring, we create meaningful long-term changes to help children develop the skills and strategies to succeed as learners.
